Description :
The SOC Manager will lead the Security Operations Center team, ensuring proactive monitoring, detection, and response to cybersecurity threats. This role requires deep expertise in BFSI security operations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to align cybersecurity practices with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage SOC analysts and engineers, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and incident response.
- Oversee detection, triage, and resolution of security incidents.
- Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and escalation procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, etc.) and BFSI regulatory requirements.
- Track and report SOC performance metrics (MTTD, MTTR, SLA adherence).
- Collaborate with IT, Risk, and Compliance teams to strengthen organizational security posture.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, threat intelligence integration, and staff training.
Required Qualifications :
Education :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Certifications :
- Preferable training/certifications such as CISM, ISO27001, CEH, or equivalent.
Experience :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the BFSI domain with proven track record in SOC operations and leadership.
Skills :
- Strong oral & written communication skills in English and local language.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and contribute to organizational target achievement.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills.
