Job Profile:
The role of software developer (backend) is to work closely on development projects with the product team on various insurance products and features to drive growth. The key skills required are Python/Django/Java. The job would include continuous collaboration with engineers, product managers and quality team and hence ability and desire to work in a team is a must.
- Must be proficient in at least one programming language, preferred Python/Django/Java.
- Must have positive debugging and communication skills.
- Should be a team player.
- At least 2+ years of experience in product based organizations as a software developer.
- Must have working knowledge with backend and frontend development.
- Knowledge of software architecture and design principles.
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. SQL), backend-services (e. g. RESTful).
- Must know hands-on work experience on Django or similar backend framework.
- Must have knowledge of GIT.
Candidate Profile:
- Working knowledge of deploying applications on Cloud infrastructure like AWS.
- Exposure to micro services architecture is an added advantage.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, Elastic Search, Kafka, Celery adds an advantage.
- Collaboration in open-source projects will add brownie points to your profile.
