Webstrail LLP is seeking a Software Test Engineer who has a foundational understanding of software testing principles and a strong interest in building hands-on testing expertise. This role is ideal for candidates with theoretical exposure to different testing methodologies and a willingness to learn under guidance. Job Role - Execute functional test cases for web-based applications.
Understand requirements and assist in validating application functionality.
Identify, log, and track defects using standard defect management tools.
Support senior QA engineers in testing activities across the SDLC.
Gain practical exposure to API testing, database testing, and non-functional testing.
Participate in test planning, test execution, and test reporting activities.
Collaborate effectively with development and product teams.
Skills Required - Understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
Knowledge of functional and non-functional testing.
Awareness of API testing and database testing concepts.
Ability to write transparent and structured test cases.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred skills
Understanding of the healthcare or medical domain - 2 to 4 years of experience in manual software testing.
Demonstrates the ability to write explicit, well-structured test cases and test scenarios.
Willing to perform key testing types, including UI/UX testing, Regression testing, Smoke testing, and Sanity testing.
