SQL & ORACLE DBA
Job Description - Grade Specific:
Experience with DBMS technologies (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL,Postgres, etc.)
- Ability to support both SQL and NoSQL data management systems.
- Database management experience of SQL databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Experience in database migrations to Cloud and Migration to Opensource databases a Plus
- Expertise data warehousing, performance tuning, data security, auditing and encryption.
- Working level proficiency with both Linux and Windows Operating Systems
- Data warehouse concepts and data modeling
- Proficiency with Automation and scripting (Shell scripting, PowerShell etc.)
- Continuous Identification and evaluation of evolving technology solutions
- Experience in onboarding current users and mentor new Database Engineers within the team
- Expert in maintaining high collaboration with cross functional skills
- Experience with Agile Scrum delivery methodologies
- Demonstrated experience with presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and perform well with customers of
varying levels of technical expertise in highpressure situations and complex environments.
- Technically enthusiastic and willing to learn and accept challenges attitude is required.
- Ability to work independently with mnimal supervision in a multi-task and fast paced environment
