Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer in this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications using .NET (C#) and Angular (v10+). Your key responsibilities will be:
- Acting as the technical authority for the team, driving architecture, design decisions, and best practices.
- Collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Providing hands-on contributions to critical parts of the codebase while setting quality standards for the team.
- Mentoring and guiding engineers, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Ensuring end-to-end ownership of systems including development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support.
- Identifying and mitigating technical risks, dependencies, and architectural challenges.
- Driving improvements in performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Supporting troubleshooting of complex production issues and leading root cause analysis efforts.
- Promoting and enforcing best practices in CI/CD, code quality, and engineering processes.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- 812+ years of professional software development experience, with prior experience in a technical leadership role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in .NET Core / C# for backend services and APIs.
- Proficiency in Angular (v10+) for building scalable, component-based frontends.
- Solid understanding of RESTful services, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
- Experience designing and working with scalable architectures and distributed systems.
- Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like JIRA, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven ability to lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to interface directly with stakeholders and guide the team.
- Experience with Azure cloud services, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
- Exposure to testing strategies (unit, integration, automation).
- Experience in high-demand enterprise environments with complex business logic.
