Role Overview
As a member of the product development division at Oracle, you will work alongside a team responsible for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing of products from conception to distribution. Your role will involve organizing interdepartmental activities to ensure product deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget. Additionally, you will be defining, designing, and implementing major changes to existing software architecture, as well as recommending and justifying significant changes to products/services/processes.
Responsibilities
- Specify technical requirements and collaborate with development teams to translate them into features.
- Define product vision and roadmap in collaboration with Product Line Management.
- Lead technical discussions with Mobile Network Operators and Service Providers globally.
Key Responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge of 5G/4G Policy, BSF Core components.
- Understanding of Emerging 5G Service-Based Architecture as per 3GPP standards.
- Familiarity with 5G/4G protocols, call flows, and Cloud Native technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Service Mesh, Container Network Interfaces, and other related technologies.
- Proficiency in large-scale product deployment models, dimensioning, and sizing.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Native Bare-metal and Virtualized Platforms.
- Expertise in Continuous Deployment Automation and Orchestration.
- Familiarity with Observability services in Traces, logs, and Metrics.
Qualification Required:
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in software engineering or related field.
- BE or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to the functional area.
- Extensive experience working in mobile signaling associated with 3G/4G/5G network functions.
- Proficiency in Cloud Native technologies, Container networking, deployment models, and Load Balancers.
- Experience in defining software product requirements for engineering organizations.
