Sr. Accountant - CA Inter required - Mumnai -Fort

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
* Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime/ERP.
* Maintain general ledger, cash, bank, customer, and vendor accounts.
* Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal, and contra entries.
* Prepare and verify invoices, vouchers, debit/credit notes, and supporting documents.
* Perform bank, customer, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
* Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
* Prepare Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and MIS reports.
* Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
* Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks, and other external parties when required.
* Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
* Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
* Verify expenses and ensure proper approvals and supporting documents.
* Identify accounting discrepancies and take corrective action.
* Prepare financial reports and provide accounting information to management.
* Support budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and other finance-related activities.
* Supervise and guide junior accounting staff, if required.
