Sr. Data Analyst (Mumbai)

- Lead the analysis of large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive business value - Develop and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics techniques to forecast business metrics, detect anomalies, and optimize decision-making processes - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project objectives, and translate business needs into actionable data analysis and reporting solutions - Design and develop data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to communicate insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making - Conduct exploratory data analysis, data cleansing, and data preprocessing to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of datasets - Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on data analysis techniques, best practices, and tools, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement - Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in data analysis, attending conferences, workshops, and training sessions as appropriate Mandatory

- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred - 4+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles, with a focus on analyzing large datasets and generating actionable insights - Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and querying from relational databases - Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or similar for data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar for creating interactive dashboards and reports - Solid understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and predictive modeling techniques Qualities: - Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
