Description
Join a product-driven engineering team building enterprise platform for the Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own the design and delivery of full stack capabilities that power core insurance operations from policy administration to integrations with external data providers.
This role is ideal for a hands-on builder who thrives in complex domains and enjoys working across backend and frontend systems. You will help build a modern platform, shape architecture decisions, and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions used by leading insurance carriers.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and deliver scalable full stack solutions, including APIs, microservices, and micro frontendsOwn end-to-end development from design through deployment ensuring performance, reliability, and code qualityDevelop platform features, enhancements, and integrations within P&C policy administration systemsCollaborate with product, business, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into technical solutionsContribute to architecture and modernization efforts using cloud, microservices, and integration patternsMentor engineers and promote best practices across distributed teams

Qualifications
4-7+ years of experience building large-scale enterprise applicationsStrong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain knowledgeHands-on experience with Policy Administration systems (e.g., Duck Creek, Guidewire, Majesco)Full stack development experience across backend and frontend systemsStrong programming skills in C#, .NET, Java, or similar technologiesExperience with GraphQL, REST APIs, React or Angular, JavaScript, SQL Server, and PostgresSolid understanding of microservices, micro frontends, SOA, and integration patternsExperience integrating with enterprise systems and external P&C data providersExperience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience across underwriting, rating, billing, claims, or document/forms workflowsFamiliarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, observability, or infrastructure as code
