Customs Operations & Duty Optimization Oversee end-to-end import/export clearances, ensuring strict adherence to HS classification, Valuation, and Rules of Origin to minimize disputes and SCNs. Identify and execute duty-saving opportunities through FTA benefits and exemption schemes (AA, EPCG, DTA, SEZ, EOU, MOOWR). CHA operations, managing daily coordination, rate contracts, deferred duty management, and reconciliation. Drive the standardization of Project Import processes (including Bond/BG closures) and reduce demurrage/detention costs through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preventive controls. Maintain the EXIM Import Compendium (HSN database, notifications) and ensure valid status for IEC, AEO Tier, and Status Holder certifications. Lead the closure of internal and external audit observations. Standardize SOPs for deemed export benefits. Maintain a repository of SCNs, demand notices, and judicial cases to ensure quick reference and resolution. Interface with Customs, DGFT, CHA partners, and statutory agencies. Timely closure of AA/EPCG obligations (EODC) and reduction in contingent liabilities. Year-over-year reduction in demurrage and detention costs. C losing Customs Audit observations and SCNs. Maintain the EXIM Import Compendium (HSN database, notifications) and ensure valid status for IEC, AEO Tier, and Status Holder certifications. Maintain a repository of SCNs, demand notices, and judicial cases to ensure quick reference and resolution. Utilize analytics for real-time alerts, SLA adherence monitoring, and ageing analysis to enhance decision-making. .
