01Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining performance metrics to measure system performance
- Documenting findings to create knowledge bases for future use by other engineers
- Creating reports on performance trends to help developers identify and address performance issues
- Developing test plans and scripts to simulate user actions and measure performance
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvement to ensure optimal efficiency
- Monitoring the performance of networks, databases, applications, or other computer systems
Work Experience:
- 8+ years of overall experience in the IT industry
- 5+ years of experience working as a performance engineer
- Experience on J2ee application stack, Cloud based applications, Load runner, Webload, Jmeter or similar tools
- Experience in analysing performance requirements, scripting and analysis of results
Required Skills:
- Experience with tools such as Jira for defect/issue mgmt and agile methodology implementation
- Strong experience with various monitoring tools such as AppDynamics (preferred), New Relic, Splunk (preferred), Extrahop, vSphere, Solarwinds Orion etc.
- Experienced with Apache/Tomcat web servers and JBoss application server (v 7.x).
- Detailed knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) and SQL queries.
- Solid Application and Database debugging experience
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced work environment
- Must be highly motivated and dependable with excellent communication skills
Educational Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related
- Certifications (Not Mandatory Highly Desired)
