01Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials and products. Ensure inventory levels are maintained according to company policies and production needs.
Stock Control: Monitor stock levels and conduct regular physical counts to reconcile with system records. Identify and address discrepancies, including investigating and resolving inventory variances.
Order Management: Process purchase orders and manage stock replenishment. Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments. Prepare and present inventory reports to management as required.
Warehouse Organization: Ensure that the storage areas are organized, clean, and secure. Implement and enforce best practices for inventory storage and handling.
Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Ensure proper documentation and handling of hazardous materials if applicable.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaboration: Work closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to support operational needs and resolve any inventory-related issues.
