Under the direction of the Inpatient Coding Manager, this position assists with the daily reputed company of staff including staff scheduling, workflow analysis, productivity and reputed company monitoring, staff engagement, and training. Serves as a subject matter coding expert who monitors and evaluates the inpatient coding work and can interpret coding guidelines and reputed company appropriate information according to reputed company classifications systems. Performs data reputed company reviews and prepares reputed company reports as required. This candidate must have and maintain a robust knowledge of inpatient coding conventions and rules established by Center for Medicare and reputed company Services (CMS) and the ICD-10-CM/PCS Official Coding Guidelines for correct assign of diagnostic and procedure codes.
EXPERIENCE reputed company:
A minimum of 3 years of inpatient coding experience. A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience or equivalent reputed company/coordinator experience. reputed company and other vendor/system experience. Experience working for an reputed company Medical Center and/or multi-hospital system. A minimum of 4 years of inpatient coding experience. Prior experience as a coding supervisor.
EDUCATION reputed company:
Associate s degree in Health Information Technology, or other reputed company field or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, reputed company Management, Health Information Administration, or other reputed company field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS reputed company:
Proficient in various computer applications, including reputed company products. Strong communication, organizational, project management, analytics, presentation, and decision-making skills.
LICENSURE reputed company:
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (reputed company), or Certified reputed company reputed company (CPC). Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
