01Overview

Job Summary Supply Chain Analyst / Sr Analyst (with strong hold in German language) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our inventory management system, ensuring optimal stock levels, accuracy, and integrity across all locations. This role is crucial for minimizing costs and obsolescence, while simultaneously maximizing product availability. Working cross-functionally, this Analyst will work as per inventory control procedures, drive continuous improvement, and lead efforts to achieve best-in-class inventory performance. Positions Sr Supply Chain Analyst * 2 Supply Chain Analyst * 1 Location Magarpatta City, Pune / Hybrid model Roles & Responsibility : Inventory Accuracy & Integrity : Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence Ensure all inventory transactions (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments) are accurately recorded in the ERP/WMS system in real-time Maintain data integrity for all inventory-related master data, including product codes, units of measure, and stock locations Manage comprehensive cycle counting programs and periodic physical inventories System & Process Enhancement : Leverage and optimize the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and WMS (Warehouse Management System) functionalities to enhance inventory control and reporting Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains within the inventory management lifecycle Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational flow Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership : Collaborate closely with warehouse, purchasing, vendor, reverse logistics & finance teams to synchronize inventory strategies with overall business objectives Provide leadership, training, and guidance to warehouse staff and other relevant personnel on best practices for inventory handling and system usage Generate and present regular inventory reports, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and analyses to senior management, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities Loss Prevention & Auditing : Implement controls and procedures to minimize inventory shrinkage, damage, and loss Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external inventory audits Key Competencies & Core Skills : Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex data, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions Detail-Oriented & Meticulous: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are paramount Organizational & Planning: Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly to diverse audiences Leadership & Teamwork: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team, as well as collaborate effectively across departments Proactive & Initiative: A self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset, always seeking better ways to operate Adaptability & Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities Integrity: High level of honesty and ethical conduct in handling company assets Qualifications: Education : Graduate, Bachelor/masters degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field Experience 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics roles 5+ years in a Analyst / Sr Analyst role, leading inventory control teams Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and WMS Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Experience in Macros is highly desirable Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus. Knowledge In-depth understanding of inventory management principles (e.g., EOQ, safety stock, ABC analysis, forecasting methodologies).
