About the Role Our client, a leading name in the **FMCG** sector, is seeking a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their dedicated team in **Chandigarh, Chandigarh**. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data, identifying bottlenecks, and developing strategic recommendations to improve inventory management, logistics, and overall supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities Analyze end-to-end supply chain data, including inventory levels, transportation costs, supplier performance, and demand forecasts, to identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key supply chain metrics and performance indicators (KPIs). Identify operational inefficiencies, risks, and cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain and propose actionable solutions. Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, manufacturing, sales, and logistics to ensure seamless coordination and execution of supply chain strategies. Assist in demand planning and forecasting processes to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations. Evaluate and recommend improvements to warehousing, transportation, and distribution networks. Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes. Monitor supplier performance and work with procurement to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing. Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making related to supply chain operations. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies within the supply chain function. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field. 2-5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or a similar role, preferably within the **FMCG** industry. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling techniques. Strong command of Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) software is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
