OVERVIEW
This role is responsible for contributing to and/or leading operational demand planning activities, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of forecasts, and driving continuous improvement within the demand planning process. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data, and implementing solutions to optimize forecasting accuracy and efficiency. This role requires you to operate in the 3.30 pm to 12.30 am shift.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Lead the end-to-end Demand Review process to develop monthly, multi-channel volume forecasts and align the operational demand plan by partnering with Marketing, Finance, and Sales to incorporate consumer movement, merchandising, and customer insights.
Generate data-driven business insights by collaborating with GIC Operational Demand Analysts to develop item/week/location forecasts to achieve inventory targets while enabling superior customer service.
Collaborate with the GIC Statistical Forecasting Analyst to deliver business insights, optimize statistical forecasting outputs, and influence commercial and business teams to drive adoption, reduce manual effort, and improve forecasting effectiveness.
Contribute to recent product forecasting assumptions and participate in launch meetings. Partner with the cross-functional business team to ensure a successful Sales and Operations process that balances supply and demand while minimizing waste.
