Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security to ensure reliable operations.
- Administer Windows, Linux, and virtualized server environments.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls using Active Directory and other identity management tools.
- Install, update, and maintain software applications, patches, and security updates.
- Perform routine system maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Monitor storage capacity and optimize server performance and resource utilization.
- Configure and maintain network services such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, and file-sharing systems.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies, firewalls, antivirus solutions, and endpoint protection.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, where applicable.
- Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.
- Support end users by resolving technical issues and providing IT assistance.
- Collaborate with network engineers, security teams, and IT support staff to implement infrastructure improvements.
