Job Description of Tableau + Cognos Developer in Sydney / Brisbane : Responsibilities
Interact with Business users and understanding their requirements.
Developing, Designing, and supporting interactive Tableau Dashboard reports
Recommending Dashboards as per Tableau visualization features
Delivering reports to Business team in timely manner
Extensive experience working with Business Intelligence data visualization tools with specialization in Tableau
Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases like, SQL Server etc.
Prepare documentations and specifications
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Must have worked in Agile environment
Must have intermediate level Excel knowledge
Be a self-motivator that has an end-to-end skill set, with a strong technical background as well as customer-centric approach
Knowledge of Tableau Server for scheduling extract refresh and user access management
Present Tableau Dashboards and reports to stakeholders across all levels
Excellent documentations skills for maintaining version history of Tableau Reports and all the business logic built in the Reports
Build and maintaining a wide array of Tableau Reports to support various business functions for KPI Reporting and Insights
Reviewing, streamlining, and automating the existing suite of Tableau Dashboards
Background
Degree in Analytics, Engineering, IT, Computer Science or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Tableau
Good in communication .
