01Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns broadly ranging in complexity for individual, corporate and partnership (including C-Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, and other State and Localities over a range of industries. - Perform services within budgeted time by developing technical, time management and organizational skills - Assist in preparation of quarterly and year end estimates - Draft responses letters to IRS and state notices when needed - Make adjusting entries and complete a trail balance in order to prepare business returns - Perform accounting/bookkeeping functions when needed - Profit-and-loss statements - Monitoring company accounts and conducting quarterly/annual reviews - Maintain client relationships and work directly with clients to resolve tax issues - Analyze tax and accounting issues and draw logical conclusions - Complete month-end financial reporting - Prepare, review and communicate to the clients tax planning projections for both businesses and individuals including estimating tax liabilities, "as-if" scenarios and other projects on an as needed basis. - Contact the IRS to quickly and confidently resolve notices and other issues. Requirement: Require a Qualified CPA or Licensed EA - Associates degree in business or Bachelor's degree in Accounting - Good knowledge of Federal Tax Regulations and state and local law - 3-5 years (or busy seasons) with a public or private accounting firm - 3-5 years QuickBooks and Tax Accounting software experience - 3-5 years Corporate Tax Returns - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Strong organizational and analytical abilities - Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines - Project leadership experience .
