Role Description:
Technical Agile Engineering Coach who is well-versed with Agile Technical Engineering practices aligned around Extreme Programming and DevOps. A thorough practitioner who has been working hands-on while implementing such engineering practices with Agile teams and ideally with development background. The person should be savvy working with all relevant tools in eco-system particularly all ALM and DevOps tools. Leader by influence and demonstrates robust mindset to understand team problems and works collaboratively to solve challenges and issues to continuously improvising value delivery. Experience driving and being part of large-scale org level Agile Transformation initiative and ability to work in tandem with Transformation Core teams vision and roadmap to inculcate appropriate Agile engineering and DevOps changes across teams.
Activities
- Guide and mentor Agile team members in software development practices
- Identify Anti-Patterns and impediments to excellence
- Teach new practices and approaches to delivering solutions enhancing technical Agility of teams
- Collaborate with teams, customers to foster cross-functionality and capabilities of agile teams
- Accelerate org level agile transformation initiative to meet defined outcomes Qualifications
- High level of skills mastery as a software developer in career
- Comfort in leading impactful change
- Expert-level understanding and proven experience of Agile and Technical Engineering practices
- DevOps practices with CI- CD implementation and optimization, TDD/BDD, Pairing, Mobbing, Emergent Design, Test Automation, Built-in Quality
- Experience leading User Story Mapping sessions, Agile Modelling, Agile Architectures
- Confidence in strategic thinking with tactical actions
- Essential working knowledge of Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, GitHub and Jenkins.
