Team Lead - Quality and Business Excellence (Maharashtra)

Designation: NA Location: India Maharashtra R-Tech Park Goregaon Organization: Financial Services Job Description: Position Purpose Lead enterprise-wide Business Excellence initiatives by driving process transformation, AI adoption, Lean Six Sigma, project governance, digital enablement, and capability building to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, governance, and business performance across the organization. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Excellence & Process Transformation - Lead enterprise process excellence initiatives through Lean Six Sigma, process re-engineering, and continuous improvement methodologies. - Design future-state operating models, SOPs, governance frameworks, and process controls to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and customer experience. - Drive process standardization, process maturity assessments, and operational excellence across business functions. 2. Strategic PMO & Transformation Governance - Manage the central transformation portfolio covering strategic, automation, analytics, and process improvement initiatives. - Establish project governance, monitor milestones, risks, dependencies, perks realization, and provide executive-level portfolio reporting. - Facilitate cross-functional delivery and ensure successful implementation of transformation programs. 3. AI, Digital Transformation & Automation - Drive enterprise AI adoption by identifying business use cases, establishing governance, and promoting responsible AI practices. - Lead automation and analytics initiatives leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other approved technologies. - Enable data-driven decision-making through digital dashboards, workflow automation, and intelligent reporting solutions. 4. Quality Governance & Compliance - Strengthen enterprise quality systems through robust process documentation, SOP governance, audit readiness, and control frameworks. - Partner with Risk, Compliance, Audit, Technology, and Business teams to embed governance and regulatory compliance into operational processes. - Support ISO and Business Excellence frameworks while driving continual improvement. 5. Learning & Capability Development - Build organizational capability in Lean Six Sigma, Business Excellence, AI, Project Management, Process Improvement, and Digital Tools. - Design and deliver structured learning programs, certifications, mentoring, and knowledge repositories to foster a culture of continuous improvement. 6. Stakeholder & Change Leadership - Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive enterprise transformation initiatives. - Lead governance forums, executive reviews, workshops, and change management programs to ensure successful adoption and sustainable business outcomes. - Mentor project teams and champion a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence. Key Deliverables - Enterprise Business Excellence & AI Transformation Roadmap - Transformation Portfolio Dashboard & Governance Reviews - Lean Six Sigma Project Pipeline with validated business benefits - Process Frameworks, SOP Repository & Governance Standards - Automation & Analytics Solutions delivering measurable business impact - Organization-wide Capability Building & Continuous Improvement Programs Preferred Qualifications - Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering, Management, Commerce, Finance, Technology, or related discipline. - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt (preferred). - PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification (preferred). Experience - 812+ years of experience in Business Excellence, Operational Excellence, Process Transformation, PMO, Quality, Automation, or Consulting within Banking/NBFC/Financial Services. - Proven track record of leading cross-functional transformation programs, Lean Six Sigma initiatives, digital automation, and executive stakeholder management.
