Roles and Responsibilities :
Lead a team of medical coders in the CRC (Clinical Review Center) to ensure accurate and timely coding of patient records.
Develop and implement effective training programs for new hires and existing staff to improve coding skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve coding discrepancies and provide guidance on documentation requirements.
Analyze data reports to identify trends, errors, and areas for improvement in the coding process.
Job Requirements :
7-10 years of experience in HCC (Hospital Clinical Coding System) or ICD-10-CM/PCS certification.
Strong understanding of CPC (Certified Professional Coder) principles and practices.
Proven leadership skills with ability to manage a team effectively. .
