Roles and Responsibilities :
- Lead a team of medical coders in the CRC (Clinical Review Center) to ensure accurate and timely coding of patient records.
- Develop and implement effective training programs for current hires and existing staff to improve coding skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve coding discrepancies and provide guidance on documentation requirements.
- Analyze data reports to identify trends, errors, and areas for improvement in the coding process.
Job Requirements :
- 7-10 years of experience in HCC (Hospital Clinical Coding System) or ICD-10-CM/PCS certification.
- Strong understanding of CPC (Certified Professional Coder) principles and practices.
- Proven leadership skills with ability to manage a team effectively. .
