Team Lead - Agentic AI Platform

As a Team Lead Agentic AI Platform at Aumni Techworks, you will lead and actively contribute to the development of agent-based AI systems. Your role involves collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to drive platform evolution and business impact. You will be responsible for designing and guiding agent architectures, driving integration with LLM APIs, orchestrating workflows, ensuring system design decisions for scalable and reliable AI-driven systems, and mentoring engineers to support their technical and career growth.

- Lead and manage engineering teams building agentic AI platforms and systems. - Remain hands-on with coding, architecture, and technical problem-solving. - Design and guide agent architectures including planning, tool usage, memory, and orchestration. - Drive integration with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or similar platforms. - Own system design decisions for scalable, reliable, and secure AI-driven systems. - Orchestrate workflows that combine tools, services, and integrations into cohesive platforms. - Ensure best practices around reliability, observability, performance, and cost control. - Collaborate closely with Product teams to shape roadmaps and delivery priorities. - Mentor engineers and support their technical and career growth. - Support hiring, onboarding, and team scaling initiatives. - Lead cross-functional collaboration across backend, full-stack, DevOps, data, and AI teams. Qualification Required: - Engineering Leadership: 3+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams with proven ability to balance leadership with hands-on technical ownership. - Full-Stack Engineering Background: 10+ years of overall software engineering experience with a strong background as a Full-Stack Engineer (backend & frontend) who continues to contribute code and technical designs regularly. - Agentic AI Systems: 1-3 years of experience building and leading agent-based AI platforms with a strong understanding of agentic concepts like planning, tool execution, memory, feedback loops, and orchestration. - LLM Integration: 3 years of hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). - System & Architecture Design: 5+ years of experience designing scalable, reliable, production-grade systems with the ability to reason about system behavior, failure modes, and edge cases. - Workflow Orchestration: 2+ years of experience combining tools, workflows, and integrations into end-to-end solutions. - Security Awareness: Intermediate understanding of secure design principles for AI-driven systems. - Product & Cross-Functional Collaboration: 3+ years of experience working closely with Product teams on roadmaps and prioritization with strong cross-functional leadership. - Mentorship & Team Building: 3+ years of experience mentoring engineers and supporting career development with experience in hiring, onboarding, and team growth initiatives.
