Role Overview
As a Specialist Financial Services at SS&C, you will be responsible for providing mutual funds transaction processing services with a customer-focused approach. You will lead a team of business support representatives, evaluating issues and providing proactive solutions to customers. Your role will involve assigning tasks, providing guidance, recommending process improvements, and ensuring team goals are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment for associates to thrive and deliver excellent service
- Lead and develop a team of transfer agency representatives to ensure service excellence for clients and their shareholders
- Direct day-to-day operational activities to optimize performance levels and ensure compliance
- Mentor and coach team members to achieve personal development goals and strengthen skills
- Monitor team goals and key performance measures, making necessary adjustments to achieve target results
- Partner with associates, clients, and colleagues to deliver a true center of excellence in financial services operations
Qualifications Required
- High energy and enthusiasm with a passion for people leadership
- Experience in financial services operations
- Bachelors degree or 2 years of related industry and leadership experience preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and strong multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
