01Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development: Lead, manage, and mentor at least a 6-8 member team of private bankers, fostering a high-performance culture. Provide coaching, guidance, and career development to team members.
Client Relationship Management: Maintain and grow a self-managed book of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs). Establish and nurture long- term, trust-based relationships with clients.
Business Growth: Identify and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Drive business growth by cross-selling services and products, increasing assets under management (AUM), and ensuring retention of key clients.
Financial Planning and Advice: Offer tailored investment and wealth management advice to clients, aligned with their financial goals. Stay updated on market trends to provide informed recommendations.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., investment, credit, compliance) to deliver integrated and comprehensive solutions to clients.
Risk Management: Maintain an in-depth understanding of risk and compliance requirements.
Ensure team adherence to relevant regulations and internal controls.
RequirementsQualifications:
Proven experience in private banking, wealth management, or a related field, with a strong track record of managing a self-sustained client book.
Minimum of 15-17 years of leadership experience in a private banking or wealth management environment.
In-depth knowledge of financial products, services, and investment strategies.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to drive results, motivate a team, and manage client relationships effectively.
Familiarity with the regulatory environment surrounding private banking and wealth management.
A proactive and client-centric approach, with a high level of professionalism and discretion. .
