01Responsibilities
- Lead the immigration team, overseeing a variety of immigration cases for both the US and Canada.
- Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
- Review and prepare immigration applications and petitions for submission to relevant authorities.
- Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide guidance throughout the immigration process.
- Track and manage deadlines for cases to ensure timely submission and compliance.
- Serve as a point of contact for team members and clients, providing guidance and support on immigration-related inquiries.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in immigration law, preferably with a strong focus on US and Canadian immigration systems.
- Experience managing a team and overseeing immigration processes is highly desired.
- In-depth knowledge of immigration procedures, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficient in legal research and case management software.
- A paralegal certification or a relevant degree in law, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
