Job Description Manage, coach, and develop a team of direct reports Possess a strong working knowledge of Traveler Payroll and the various compliance and audit needs, including garnishments and reporting. Develop a strong working knowledge of UKG and be available to help troubleshoot software issues and escalate to UKG as needed Help answer payroll compliance questions regarding tax issues, with knowledge of when to collaborate with our internal tax team Maintain strong communication and collaboration with other Payroll Team Leads Assist with the implementation of new and existing projects or systems Train new team members and maintain documentation of the Payroll Compliance processes Oversee assignment of daily tasks to ensure payroll timelines are met Provide coaching to direct reports through one-on-one meetings, complete and present annual performance reviews Other duties as assigned Requirements At least two years of payroll processing experience. UKG experience is a plus. Associates degree or equivalent in work experience Experience in multi-state payroll processing Knowledge of payroll and employment tax laws Ability to effectively communicate information to employees and management Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping confidential information Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/assignments while consistently meeting deadlines Great problem-solving and analytical skills MS Office experience, including skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, along with Smartsheet.
