Job Description

Role Overview

As the HR - ER Compliance Manager Zonal for the Gold Loans business, your primary responsibility will be to ensure Employee Relations and compliance across the assigned branches within the zone. It is essential to guarantee adherence to statutory labour laws, company policies, audit requirements, and ethical HR practices. Your role will require frequent travel to branches for audits, investigations, and compliance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure 100% statutory compliance across branches including Shops & Establishment Act, Minimum Wages, Bonus, Gratuity, PF, ESI, CLRA, POSH, etc. - Conduct periodic HR compliance audits and maintain updated compliance trackers and documentation. - Coordinate with legal and compliance teams for statutory filings, inspections, and support internal and external audits. - Manage employee grievance handling, disciplinary inquiries, and domestic investigations within defined timelines. - Support HRBP in addressing misconduct, absenteeism, performance issues, and ensure proper documentation of warning letters, charge sheets, and termination processes. - Promote a positive employee relations climate, monitor adherence to code of conduct, and partner with Business HR to address employee issues. - Ensure compliance with POSH regulations, support IC inquiries, conduct awareness sessions, and oversee background verification and employee documentation. - Conduct regular branch visits, surprise compliance checks, and employee engagement meetings across the assigned zone. - Be available for urgent ER matters, statutory inspections, and ensure workplace conduct aligns with ethical standards. Qualification Required: - Solid knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance. - Experience in Employee Relations and disciplinary processes. - Strong investigation and conflict resolution skills. - Proficient in documentation and audit management. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the zone.
