Role and Responsibilities
Backend Java developer role and responsibilities include managing Java/Java EE application
development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and
design to testing. This includes:
Delivering high availability and performance
Contributing in all phases of the Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Work on Java/Java EE application development
Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code
Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
Ensuring designs comply with specifications
Preparing and producing releases of software components
Transforming requirements into stipulations
Support continuous improvement
o Investigating alternatives and technologies
o Presenting for architectural review
Preparing End User Documentation and Training
Maintaining an active testing setting
Looking for code smells and optimizing code
Identifying other programs that could enhance current systems .
