Company Description Nav Yugal is Indias first event community platform, designed to bring hosts, event planners, vendors, artists, and event workers together under one digital ecosystem. Focused on weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and cultural gatherings, the platform simplifies end-to-end event planning and management. Users can discover local vendors and artists, manage guests and bookings through a Host Dashboard, and coordinate all event tasks via web and mobile apps. Nav Yugal aims to build a hyperlocal, community-driven network that makes planning celebrations more efficient, transparent, and rewarding for all participants. The company is in its launch phase, offering opportunities for early collaborators, partners, and creators to shape the product and its impact. Role Description The Tech Co Founder/CTO will lead the end-to-end technology vision, architecture, and implementation of Nav Yugals event community platform. This full-time hybrid role is based in New Delhi, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining the products technical roadmap, choosing and implementing scalable technologies, and overseeing the development of the web and mobile applications. The role involves building and managing a high-performing engineering team, setting coding standards and best practices, and ensuring security, performance, and reliability across the platform. The Tech Co Founder/CTO will collaborate closely with the founding team on product strategy, data-driven decision-making, and integration of features that support hosts, vendors, artists, and event workers. Additional responsibilities include managing third-party integrations, supervising DevOps and deployment processes, and contributing to fundraising, investor discussions, and long-term business planning from a technology perspective. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to design scalable architecture, interpret user data, and make data-driven product and technology decisions.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with co-founders, engineers, designers, vendors, and external partners, and to articulate technical concepts clearly.Sales-oriented mindset to support founder-led sales, present the product to potential partners and investors, and align technology outcomes with revenue goals.Marketing awareness to translate market insights into product features, support growth experiments, and ensure the platform aligns with community-driven branding.Solid research skills to evaluate technologies, study competitor platforms, and identify best practices in event-tech, marketplace, and community platforms.Proficiency in modern web and mobile development stacks (e.g., React/Next.js, Node.js, or similar; native or cross-platform mobile frameworks such as Flutter/React Native).Experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and application security for consumer-facing platforms.Background in building or scaling marketplace, SaaS, or community platforms, ideally from early-stage .
