Function Digital & Information TechnologiesPay Band E4 to M2Role Tech LeadA purpose driven role for you Technical Knowledge & Leadership: Technical Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of any major programming language, Database systems (SQL/NoSQL) , cloud platforms , mobile application development lifecycles, Content Management Systems (CMS), and E-commerce architectures. Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the creation of robust solution designs and technical architectures for new features, modules, and platform integrations, ensuring all outputs map cleanly to business requirements and scale efficiently. Adherence to Standards & InfoSec: Enforce strict architectural standards, code quality benchmarks, and Security / VAPT policies across all active engineering tracks to mitigate risk and technical debt. Project Planning & Delivery Execution: Actively drive technical project planning, including work breakdown structures, estimation, dependency mapping, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure seamless multi-track delivery. Cross-Functional Unblocking: Provide basic full-stack guidance and architectural troubleshooting to unblock development teams as required. Adaptive Problem Solving: Demonstrate the technical agility to dive into, understand, and solve problems across a diverse tech stack (including but not limited to Flutter, Drupal, AEM, Magento, React, Node, Java, Python), without deep hands-on experience in every single tool. Cloud & DevOps Oversight: Leverage strong experience in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Firebase, GCP) to oversee infrastructure, modern CI/CD pipelines, application monitoring, and deployment strategies. People & Project Management: Simultaneous Track Delivery: Oversee the planning, execution, and end-to-end completion of multiple software development projects running concurrently. Team Management: Actively manage internal and partner resources, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment. (Past people management experience is MANDATORY). Processes & Standards Governance & Compliance: Enforce security protocols, data protection policies , and proactive application monitoring/alerting systems. Documentation & Audits: Review technical documentation, system architectures, and unit test strategies to ensure zero major issues during security and process audits.A Day in the life The Technical Lead role is to drive the successful, simultaneous execution of multiple software delivery tracks while managing and mentoring cross-functional engineering and QA teams. This role acts as a high-level problem solver who aligns technical execution with business strategy, unblocks teams across a diverse technology ecosystem, and ensures architectural integrity and quality assurance standards are met end-to-end.Academic Qualification & Experience BE/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/MCA or equivalentTechnical Skills/Knowledge 7+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership Delivery: Proven track record of managing simultaneous delivery pipelines and driving agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban. This includes tracking sprint metrics, balancing resource allocations across concurrent workflows, and maintaining delivery momentum without compromising software quality. End-to-End Solutioning: Extensive experience in architecting highly scalable, resilient, and distributed systems for web or mobile applications. The candidate must possess deep, hands-on expertise across the entire SDLCfrom initial requirement analysis and solution design to project planning, development, quality assurance testing, and final cloud deployment. Technical Agility: Strong foundational full-stack knowledge, including deep proficiency in at least two of the following technologies: Python, Java, NodeJs, React, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, or AEM. The candidate must be actively hands-on with Database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and Content Management Systems (CMS), displaying a strong ability to dive into unknown codebases, troubleshoot errors, and problem-solve across a highly varied technology ecosystem. Cloud Proficiency: Robust experience working with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. This involves managing cloud infrastructure, setting up and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, handling configuration management, and managing mobile application distribution channels. Tooling: PHigh proficiency with modern engineering tools, including Git/GitHub for version control, Jira for task tracking and agile project management, Postman for API testing, and various Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools for proactive production monitoring and debugging.
