01Key Responsibilities
Lead development and testing teams as Technical Lead.
Responsible for technical design of the application.
Accountable for backlog grooming with detailed DOR, DOD, User stories with clear acceptance criteria, estimations, task break down, task assignments, monitoring progress, coaching the team as needed, issue resolutions, technical blocker removal.
Accountable for technical quality and timely deliveries.
Develop, maintain, and enhance trading applications using Python.
Implement and support FIX protocol-based solutions for trading systems.
Collaborate with traders, quants, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Optimize and troubleshoot trading algorithms and systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure code quality and stability.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in the trading domain.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience for more than 10+ years as a Python Developer in the trading domain.
Strong knowledge of the FIX protocol and its implementation.
Experience with trading systems, market data, and order management systems.
Proficiency in Python programming and related frameworks/libraries.
Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data structures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Solid communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with other programming languages such as Java.
Knowledge of financial markets and trading strategies.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker).
Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
