Technical Architect Data Engineering to lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native data platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Scala, and Python, with a strong background in architecting large-scale data solutions, mentoring engineering teams, and collaborating directly with business stakeholders to deliver high-impact data engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design, architect, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Lead the development of robust batch and real-time data pipelines using Scala, Python, and Spark. Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for processing large-scale structured and unstructured datasets. Develop data ingestion frameworks from multiple data sources, including APIs, databases, streaming platforms, and cloud storage. Required Skills
14+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering. Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Excellent programming experience in Scala and Python. Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala Spark). Experience designing enterprise-scale data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks. Preferred Qualifications
Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Architect Certification. Experience with Kafka or other streaming technologies. Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Experience in Healthcare, Insurance, or Financial Services is a plus. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
