Job Purpose
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with expertise in Power BI and SQL to support the Operational Resilience team. You will design and develop data analytics solutions, create advanced reporting dashboards, and integrate APIs to streamline operational processes. This role bridges business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for operational metrics and KPIs
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources
Integrate APIs to automate data flows and enhance reporting capabilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Perform data validation and quality assurance on all analytics deliverables
Document technical specifications and maintain data dictionaries
Support troubleshooting and optimization of existing analytics infrastructure
Participate in process improvement initiatives using data insights
Qualification & Core Skills
Advanced proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)
Strong SQL expertise (query optimization, stored procedures, database design)
Solid understanding of REST APIs and API integration methodologies
Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
Knowledge of financial services or operational risk domains (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
