ABOUT THE ROLE:

Technology & Architecture

• Evolve architecture across Insurance Samadhan's platforms
• Turn ambiguous business problems into scalable systems
• Own tech-stack, build-vs-buy and technical-debt decisions 
  
  

AI Engineering

• Ship production LLM applications
• Design RAG pipelines and agentic workflows
• Own evaluation, reliability, latency and cost of AI in production
• Apply document intelligence and OCR to real insurance workflows
  
  

Backend & Platform

• Design scalable services, APIs, queues and async pipelines
• Own critical integrations and platform components end-to-end
• Build reliable foundations for product and enterprise scale

Product & Enterprise

• Work directly with founders and product leadership
• Represent the technology function with partners and enterprise stakeholders
• Translate complex systems into decisions non-engineers can act on. 
  
  

Infrastructure & Reliability

• Own cloud, Docker, CI/CD and deployment architecture
• Establish monitoring, observability and incident ownership
• Drive security, access control and data-protection practices. 
  
  

Engineering Leadership

• Lead, mentor and hire engineers
• Review architecture and critical code
• Set engineering standards and a culture of ownership.
