Excellent opportunity for Technical Manager with one of our esteemed clients in NBFC Industry based in Mumbai.

Designation: Technical Manager LAP & SME

Location: Goregaon, Mumbai

We are looking for an experienced Technical Officer / Technical Manager for property vetting and technical evaluation of secured assets under LAP (Loan Against Property) and SME loans. The role will be based out of Mumbai, with responsibility for handling cases across Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. The candidate should have strong expertise in property assessment, collateral evaluation, and technical due diligence in the NBFC sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct technical/property vetting for LAP and SME loan cases.

Evaluate residential, commercial, industrial, and plot properties offered as collateral.

Perform site inspections and technical due diligence for secured lending cases.

Assess property quality, marketability, accessibility, valuation feasibility, and associated risks.

Review technical documents including approved plans, municipal approvals, property tax records, and ownership-related documents.

Coordinate with credit, legal, sales, and operations teams for smooth case processing.

Identify technical discrepancies, encroachments, risks, or deviations in property-related documents.

Prepare and submit Technical Evaluation Reports (TER) within defined timelines.

Ensure compliance with company policies and NBFC lending guidelines.

Provide technical support for branches and regional teams across assigned geographies.

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate with relevant technical field preferred.

Preferably Btech Civil Engineering

7-8 years of experience in technical property vetting for LAP/SME loans with an NBFC, Bank, or Financial Institution.

Strong understanding of property valuation, technical due diligence, and secured lending.

Hands-on exposure to property documentation and regional practices across Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.

Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
