Role Overview
As a Technical Product Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in shaping the long-term product direction and driving detailed execution with the engineering team. Your strong technical judgment, clarity of thought, and hands-on technical experience will be essential in bridging product thinking with engineering execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own technical product areas from end-to-end, including problem definition, system design alignment, execution, and iteration.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to define technical requirements, architecture trade-offs, and delivery plans.
- Break down complex technical problems and drive prioritization decisions based on business value, technical feasibility, and user impact.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and execution with a focus on delivery quality.
- Develop and maintain technical PRDs that clearly articulate system behavior, edge cases, and dependencies.
- Work with engineering to ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance standards.
- Take ownership of releases end-to-end, including scope definition, rollout planning, documentation, and post-release analysis.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Management with a strong emphasis on technical ownership.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in software engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on system-heavy products.
- Proficiency in APIs, backend systems, data flows, and basic system design.
- Experience in defining, scoping, and prioritizing technical product requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to work 6 days a week from the Gurugram office.
