Technical Support Engineer IFPD & IT Solutions

Job Summary We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer IFPD & IT Solutions to provide installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and technical support for Interactive Flat Panel Displays (IFPDs) and related IT equipment. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of desktop/laptop hardware, Windows, software installation, networking, and peripheral troubleshooting. Candidates with a Desktop Support / IT Support background are preferred. Freshers with a relevant technical qualification and strong troubleshooting skills may also apply, as product-specific training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and provide technical support for Interactive Flat Panel Displays (IFPDs) and related equipment. Install and configure operating systems, drivers, software applications, and required utilities. Troubleshoot hardware, software, display, connectivity, and peripheral-related issues. Diagnose and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, displays, printers, and other IT peripherals. Configure and troubleshoot connectivity through LAN, Wi-Fi, HDMI, USB, Bluetooth, and other interfaces as applicable. Support installation and configuration of applications and software used with IFPD systems. Perform basic troubleshooting of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other business applications. Assist with system updates, software patches, firmware updates, and preventive maintenance. Provide technical assistance to customers/end users and ensure timely resolution of reported issues. Visit customer sites when required for installation, troubleshooting, demonstrations, and technical support. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and technical issues. Maintain records of installations, service requests, technical issues, and resolutions. Maintain basic inventory and records of IT/technical equipment and accessories. Provide basic user guidance and training on the operation and usage of IFPD systems. Learn and develop expertise in the company's IFPD products, features, applications, and troubleshooting processes. Required Qualifications & Skills Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field. Candidates with a Desktop Support, IT Support, Hardware & Networking, or Technical Support background will be preferred. Freshers with the right technical aptitude are also welcome to apply. Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, software installation, drivers, and hardware troubleshooting. Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and Wi-Fi. Familiarity with desktops, laptops, printers, displays, and other IT peripherals. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving ability. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Ability and willingness to learn new hardware, software, and IFPD technologies.
