Overview
As a Technical Support Specialist with expertise in pharmacovigilance (PV) systems, your role will be crucial in managing system configurations, customizations, and technical support activities for global ICSR submissions. You should possess deep technical and regulatory knowledge, particularly in systems such as Argus, Axway, Apex, and BI Publisher. Your responsibilities will include maintaining PV system stability, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, supporting audits, and resolving system-related issues to uphold data quality.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve:
- Collaborating with Japanese stakeholders in both Japanese and English for seamless communication
- Developing and managing document deliverables such as Requirement Documents and Design Documents
- Designing, building, and implementing reports for clients
- Conducting POCs to assess solution effectiveness and incorporating feedback
- Working closely with clients to support implementation and issue resolution
- Implementing quality measures to drive operational efficiencies and demonstrate value to customers
- Leading or participating in consulting projects, proposing cost-effective solutions, and delivering client reports and presentations
- Proactively identifying and resolving issues, demonstrating strong ownership in driving tasks end-to-end
Qualifications essential for this role include:
- Professional experience and strong knowledge in Drug Safety Products from Oracle/Aris Global Argus/ArisG
- Working knowledge of writing SQL queries and PL/SQL code
- Experience with BI/reporting tools like PVR, Cognos, or BI Publisher
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Your work location can be either on-site or remote in Bengaluru, India. As a bilingual Japanese-speaking professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective communication with Japanese stakeholders.
