Job Description:
We are hiring Test Engineers (TE) with 2-6 years of experience in Digital Banking and Payments. Candidates should have experience in Corporate Internet Banking (IB), Mobile Banking (MB), or UPI Payments applications along with strong expertise in Manual Testing, API Testing, SQL, and Linux.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating banking/payment applications, executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across digital banking and payment platforms.
Role & responsibilities:
- Perform functional testing of Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and UPI Payment applications.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute Manual, Smoke, Sanity, Regression, System Integration (SIT), and End-to-End Testing.
- Validate APIs using REST API testing tools.
- Perform backend data validation using SQL queries.
- Analyze application logs and troubleshoot issues using Linux commands.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using Jira/ALM or similar tools.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Coordinate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Business Teams for issue resolution.
- Prepare test execution reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Ensure quality delivery within project timelines.
Required Skills:
- 2-6 years of Software Testing experience.
- Experience in Corporate Internet Banking (IB), Mobile Banking (MB), or UPI Payments.
- Strong knowledge of Manual/Functional Testing.
- Hands-on experience in API Testing.
- Positive knowledge of SQL for database validation.
