Role Overview
As a Trade Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate settlement of trades by conducting research on discrepancies with trading desks, custodians, and brokers. You will also be required to report and track fail trades, capture broker performance data, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in processing manual trades, matching derivatives trades, and supporting collateral management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and resolve discrepancies with trading desks, custodians, and brokers
- Report and track fail trades, communicating with internal teams as necessary
- Analyze broker performance related to trade confirmation and settlement
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Process manual trades in Accounting systems
- Match derivatives trades and raise discrepancies with internal parties and brokers
- Match margins with brokers and facilitate movement between broker and custodians
- Support Collateral Management process by matching collaterals with brokers and reporting excess/deficit collateral
- Maintain and update documentation on Trade Processing global operational procedures
- Perform User Acceptance Testing and provide rollout support for applications used in daily operations
- Update broker, custodian contact sheet, and SSI
- Mentor Trade Admin I and provide support/cover for Senior Trade Admin
Qualifications Required
- Sound knowledge of investment products globally, specifically derivatives
- 2-5 years of experience in the Investment Industry
- Good understanding of Derivatives Products (Futures, Swaps, Options) and their confirmation and settlement processes
- Knowledge of Fixed Income products and FI trade life cycle
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or related field (or equivalent experience)
