01Responsibilities
Work with internal and external teams to understand bespoke business workflows and translate them into a software solution.
Regularly communicate with the tech teams of clients/brokers and their technology vendors
Participate in various strategic projects ranging from the rollout of new functionalities on the platform to system improvements, regulatory changes, etc.
Build knowledge of the financial marketplace and keep up with current industry trends.
Contribute to knowledge management efforts.
Complete required trainings - regulatory and otherwise
Be willing to work in rotational shifts including US hours.
Experience:
3+ years' experience in a similar role
Excellent understanding of FIX protocol (version 4.2/4.4/5.0)
Previous experience working with virtual teams to successfully deliver projects.
Previous experience in a professional and client focused environment where detailed process/procedures, workflow are followed.
Knowledge of Equities, Futures, and options asset classes
Exposure to OMS/EMS products and Electronic Trading domain
Familiarity with programming languages (C, C++, Java)
Familiarity with Unix / SQL/Database/Perl/Python
Familiarity with networking protocols, VPN, Extranet connectivity, understanding of TCP/IP concepts.
Previous experience with Share point, Confluence, Blue works, Jira or Salesforce for documentation and issue management
