Loan Officer / Relationship Officer Roles & Responsibilities
Role: Loan Officer / Relationship Officer (Gold Loans)
Department: Sales & Business Development
Product: Gold Loans
Key Responsibilities
Generate new Gold Loan business through customer visits, references, local marketing, and lead generation.
Identify and approach potential customers in the local market and explain Gold Loan products, eligibility, process, and benefits.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat and referral business.
Handle customer enquiries and guide customers through the Gold Loan application process.
Coordinate with the branch team for KYC, documentation, gold appraisal, loan processing, and disbursement.
Follow up with leads regularly and convert eligible prospects into customers.
Achieve assigned monthly business and disbursement targets.
Conduct field visits and maintain good knowledge of the local market and customer base.
Support customer retention, renewals, top-ups, and additional business opportunities as per company policy.
Ensure all customer information and documents are collected accurately and submitted as per company/KYC requirements.
Maintain daily activity reports, lead details, follow-ups, and business MIS.
Coordinate with the Operations Manager/Branch Manager for smooth processing of customer cases.
Follow company policies, compliance requirements, and ethical sales practices.
Identify potential risks or suspicious customer/document activities and immediately escalate them to the concerned branch authority.
Maintain professional relationships with existing customers and generate referral business.

Lead Generation Customer Acquisition Gold Loan Disbursement Customer Relationship Repeat/Referral Business Target Achievement For Freshers: Training will be provided on Gold Loan products, customer handling, sales process, documentation, and basic branch operations. .
