Job Overview The Trainee Research Scientist (Discovery) role is designed for early-career professionals seeking hands-on experience in drug discovery research. This internship provides exposure to research methodologies, laboratory practices, and scientific techniques used in pharmaceutical discovery programs. The position offers an opportunity to work within a structured research environment, supporting discovery-stage projects and contributing to innovative therapeutic development. Key Responsibilities Assist in drug discovery research activities within the Discovery department. Support laboratory experiments related to organic chemistry and compound development. Maintain accurate documentation of research data and experimental observations. Follow established laboratory protocols, safety procedures, and research guidelines. Collaborate with research teams to support ongoing scientific projects. Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards in research processes. Education and Experience Requirements Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Organic Chemistry. 01 year of research or laboratory experience (fresh postgraduates eligible). Strong understanding of organic chemistry principles and laboratory practices. Required Skills and Competencies Basic knowledge of drug discovery and chemical research methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and scientific documentation ability. Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment.
