Role Description The Domestic Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad. This role involves designing and selling customized domestic travel packages, including transportation, accommodation, and sightseeing arrangements. The consultant will handle inquiries, provide destination information, prepare quotations, and manage reservations and ticketing for individual and group trips. Daily tasks include coordinating with vendors, updating booking records, resolving customer issues, and ensuring smooth travel experiences from initial inquiry to post-trip feedback. The role also requires maintaining knowledge of domestic destinations, current offers, and travel regulations to advise customers accurately.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Travel Consulting, including understanding domestic destinations and tailoring packages to customer needs.Experience in Travel Management and Travel Arrangements, such as planning itineraries, coordinating transport and accommodations, and managing group tours.Proficiency in Customer Service and Reservations, including handling inquiries, booking tickets and hotels, and resolving issues promptly.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain options clearly and build long-term customer relationships.Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines.Comfort with using computers, booking platforms, and basic office software; familiarity with travel GDS or reservation systems is an advantage.Prior experience in a travel agency or tour operator environment is preferred but not mandatory.Minimum educational qualification: completion of secondary education; a diploma or degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field is a plus. .
