Role Summary
We are looking for a Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP) Specialist with strong exposure to liquidity risk and treasury functions. The role requires a deep understanding of regulatory expectations along with the ability to connect these to balance sheet dynamics, funding strategies and stress scenarios within a banking environment.
This is a domain-focused role with emphasis on practical implementation of resolution planning frameworks, rather than purely policy or documentation-driven work.
Key responsibilities
Develop and enhance Recovery & Resolution Plans (RRP), including recovery options, resolution strategies and wind-down scenariosSupport design and execution of stress scenarios covering liquidity, funding and capital impactsAssess liquidity adequacy under stressed conditions, including analysis of LCR, NSFR and funding gapsWork closely with treasury teams to evaluate contingency funding plans and liquidity buffersTranslate regulatory expectations into practical, implementable frameworks aligned to bank balance sheet structuresContribute to regulatory submissions (e.g., living wills) and support interactions with regulators where requiredPerform analysis on balance sheet, funding profiles and asset-liability mismatches under different stress conditionsCollaborate with risk, finance and treasury stakeholders to ensure alignment across capital, liquidity and resolution strategies
Qualification
Bachelors / Masters degree in Finance, Business or related field. Professional courses like CA
Skills Required
Required skills
1. Resolution Planning / Regulatory (Must Have)
Hands-on experience in Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP) or similar regulatory frameworksUnderstanding of resolution strategies, recovery options and wind-down planningFamiliarity with global regulatory expectations (e.g., living wills, resolution frameworks)
2. Liquidity & Treasury (Must Have)
Strong understanding of liquidity risk management (LCR, NSFR)Exposure to treasury functions, including funding strategies and liquidity buffersExperience with contingency funding plans and liquidity stress testing
3. Banking & Risk Understanding (Important)
Good understanding of bank balance sheet structure and asset-liability management (ALM)Awareness of capital and liquidity interplay under stress conditionsExposure to risk reporting / regulatory reporting frameworks
Preferred Experience
Experience working with global banks / large financial institutionsPrior involvement in regulatory programs, stress testing or liquidity transformation initiativesAbility to work across risk, treasury and finance functions
