Role & responsibilities Evaluate and underwrite commercial vehicle insurance proposals based on risk assessment and company guidelines. Analyze vehicle, operator, route, and claims history to determine risk acceptability. Monitor underwriting performance, loss ratios, and portfolio trends, and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with sales, brokers, and claims teams to support business growth and ensure compliance with underwriting policies and regulatory requirements. Preferred candidate profile Solid understanding of commercial vehicle risks, pricing principles, policy wordings, and regulatory requirements. 4 to 7 years of experience in General Insurance underwriting, with specific exposure to Commercial Vehicle/Motor underwriting. Proficient in risk assessment, portfolio monitoring, data analysis, and underwriting decision-making.
