01Responsibilities
Prepare and file indirect tax returns, including sales tax, VAT/GST, and other related filings, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Review and reconcile indirect tax accounts and transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Monitor changes in indirect tax laws and regulations and assess potential impacts on the company's tax position and operations.
Assist with tax planning initiatives to optimize indirect tax outcomes and minimize tax liabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and legal, to address indirect tax-related issues and implement process improvements.
Respond to inquiries and requests from tax authorities and assist with tax audits and examinations.
Prepare and maintain documentation and workpapers to support indirect tax filings and audits.
Analyze data and trends to identify prospects for tax savings and process efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in tax software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. .
