Position: Backend Developer (Python & Django)
Location Gurgaon (Currently work from home option)

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side components of web applications using Python and Django framework.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to enable smooth communication between the front-end and back-end systems.
- Develop efficient database models and queries using SQL or ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) tools like Django ORM.
- Perform system integration and unit testing to ensure high-quality and reliable software applications.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues in production systems.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in back-end development, Python, Django, and related technologies.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help maintain code quality.
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Backend Developer, preferably with expertise in Python and Django.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Proficient in Python and its associated libraries and frameworks, particularly Django.
- Solid knowledge of database systems, SQL, and ORM concepts.
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Good to have:
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their integration with back-end systems.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP or similar cloud platforms
- Knowledge of deployment practices, industry-leading CI/CD practices and build configuration management.
- RabbitMQ, Celery, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, etc.
